Princess Pearl is our darling 16-year-old cat. We rescued her from the yard of the late Mrs. Rosa Meredith, who was known as “The Cat Lady,” after Mrs. Meredith was hit by a car in 1990 and became incapacitated.

Pearl is our princess, our love, our companion, our grandcat. She is “in charge” of our household.
