Here are a couple of faces behind NEXT!
 As
a media coordinator for The Fayetteville Observer’s special
publications division, Lenda Rucker wears a number of hats,
including calendar editor for NEXT! Magazine. In that role,
Lenda keeps up with
the latest happenings in Cumberland and Moore counties. Of particular
interest are events related to entertainment, informational
seminars and social clubs which appeal to baby boomers and seniors.

 As
the chief photographer for NEXT! Magazine, Rachael Santillan
may be on-location one day (as in the cover shoot at the home
of Hank and Diane Parfitt) or preparing, styling and photographing
food in the studio the next day (like the pancakes on cover
story). Rachael is a graduate of the Columbus College
of Art and Design in Ohio. Prior to joining The Fayetteville
Observer in 2005, she freelanced for eight years.
