Here are a couple of faces behind NEXT!

Mary Elle Hunter, a resident of Moore County, is the author of the book “A Place Called Pinehurst.” A marketing consultant and freelance writer, she contributes stories about the happenings and people in Southern Pines, Pinehurst and Aberdeen for NEXT! For this issue, Mary Elle captures the authentic flavors and ambience of Greece in her story about Corfu Taverna in Southern Pines.

Michael Rados maintains the NEXT! Web site (next-magazine.com), which contains an archive of all issues since the publication’s debut in December 2003. Michael has worked with The Fayetteville Observer since 1997 and with the New Media department since 2000. With experience in both print and online media, Michael says he is “a traditional artist who uses the computer as one of his tools.”
